Stress

There are times in our lives when things become challenging.  We may be worried about money, about a family member, we may be ill, or any number of things.  It is what we do during these times that matters.  How do you handle stress?  Do you take full responsibility for your life and your experiences, or do you blame others for what is happening to you?  Do you stop taking care of yourself so you can attend to what is at hand?  Do you repress your fears and stress, locking it deep inside instead of processing it and letting it go?  Do you proactively address these situations as they come about, or do you complain about them, lamenting about your situation?  Are you the hero or a victim?  We have choices in everything we say, everything we do, and in our way of being.  What choices do you make when it comes to stress and challenges?

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
