Vibration Plate Exercises for Weight Loss – Burn Fat and Get Toned!

If you have a vibration plate machine and have no idea how to work out or what exercises to do, this video is for you!

In this video, I demonstrate 9 basic vibration plate exercises.

There's a lot of research on vibration plates including studies that show they help you lose weight, burn fat, and they're great at resistance and strength-training as well!

According to the Mayo Clinic's Website:

Advocates say that as little as 15 minutes a day of whole-body vibration three times a week may aid weight loss, burn fat, improve flexibility, enhance blood flow, reduce muscle soreness after exercise, build strength and decrease the stress hormone cortisol....Some research does show that whole-body vibration may help improve muscle strength and that it may help with weight loss when you also cut back on calories.Whole-body vibration may also have a role beyond sports and fitness. Some research shows that whole-body vibration, when performed correctly and under medical supervision when needed, can:

  • Reduce back pain
  • Improve strength and balance in older adults
  • Reduce bone loss (Mayo Clinic Website)

Let's build muscle, burn fat and calories, and have some fun while we get fit! Stay tuned to the end of the video- there's a special lil message for you :).

I had so much fun doing this video and I LOVE this machine! I bought it as a reward for myself after a particularly challenging month at work (I am an Executive Director of a non-profit focused on health and wellness). My sister recommended I try it out - and I am so glad I made the purchase! I look forward to doing a workout (okay, even more!) when I use the machine. It's too soon for me to let you know if it's made a huge difference in toning, but I would say it already has had an effect on my stomach area, not to mention my hip and knee pain is a lot better.I recommend getting one for the main purpose that it's fun, it will motivate you to exercise (if you know how to properly use it), and there's research suggesting it helps with aches and pains, resistance and strength gains, balance, and more. As we get older, these areas are all so important to stay our optimal best health-wise.

I purchased my vibration plate on Amazon here:

The dumbbell set I use is also from Amazon. They're adjustable so you can save money and space by just using these. As per the company: "There are 16 small and 2 large weight blocks per dumbbell. the single large block weighs 1.25 lbs and single small block weighs 0.4 lbs. Without adding weight block, the per dumbbell weighs 2.2 lbs. After adding weight blocks, the weight can be adjustable from 2.3 to 4.5 lbs per dumbbell."

*As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It doesn't cost you anything extra and you are free to use the link or not as you choose. If you do use the link, I appreciate your support. I only recommend products I use and/or love. And I LOVE this! The machine comes with resistance bands - but they're pretty much useless because they roll, curl up, and generally are more frustrating than useable. You can still get a phenomenal workout without them.
