Your life is a masterpiece. This work of art, your life, is perfect just as it is; you are already a masterpiece. You don’t need to do anything, say anything, or be anything–you are already enough.
Since you are the artist of your life and if you choose, you can create something even more wonderful. Like an artist’s canvas, you always have available to you the choice to start all over, or to add or subtract something from your work of art. You can find new tools to work with, get another size canvas, use new colors, paint new things–you can do anything to your canvas–this is your life! You are in charge of making it beautiful.
Often what happens is, instead of inspiration, desperation sets in as a motivation to make changes. Some people experience traumatic events like illness, death, or a divorce and only then start to change their lives. You don’t have to wait. You never did. You don’t need permission or to wait for someday to take back control of your life. You don’t have to wait to work on making a nice life. If you don’t like the masterpiece you’ve created, do something differently.
I like the saying: You are 100% responsible for your thoughts, words, and actions. You are 100% responsible for your life’s canvas. You are a masterpiece. Are you the master of your masterpiece?
